How do I redeem my code?

If you are a new user: Go to the Register page to create an account. Type in the unique access code that came with your purchase in the field “Registration Code”. Then click on “Register Your Account” to redeem your purchase.

If you already have an account: To redeem a code, click the Redeem Code tab, type in the unique access code that came with your purchase, then click “Redeem.”

How do I get/buy a code?

ASNT publications that include an online component come with a unique code. For print publications, this scratch-off code is located on the inside front cover or on a separate binder page. Ebook codes will be sent via email. If you did not receive a code with your purchase, please contact the ASNT Store.

My code doesn’t work. Can I get a new one?

If you are having trouble inputting your code, please contact the ASNT Store.

I have forgotten my password.

If you have forgotten your password, click the Forgot Password tab on the main Dashboard, then input the username or email address you used to create your account and you will be guided through the process of recovering your account.

Can I view my purchases offline?

Accessing and downloading content requires an active internet connection.

Purchases that involve downloading a ZIP file: Once you download the file to your computer, materials will be accessible offline.

Purchases that open using a browser: Opened pages may remain accessible as long as you don’t close or navigate away from the page. You may also be able to “Save Page As…Web Page” and view the file offline using Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. 

My purchase isn’t showing up. What can I do?

Which browser should I use?

For best results, please use the following to access your purchase: 

Windows: Google Chrome (latest version), Microsoft Edge (latest version), Internet Explorer 11, Firefox (latest version) 

Mac: Google Chrome (latest version), Safari (latest version), Firefox (latest version)

Mobile: Safari in Apple iOS 10 or later, Google Chrome in Apple iOS 10 or later, Google Chrome in Android OS 4.4 or later

What software do I need to open the files?

For purchases that include downloading a ZIP file, you will need the following: 

  • ZIP file extractor
  • PowerPoint viewer (Microsoft PowerPoint, Keynote – Apple, Office Editing for Docs, Sheets & Slides by Google, etc.)
  • PDF reader (Adobe Acrobat ReaderPreview on Mac, etc.)

I found an error in the content. Who can I ask about it?

Is there a limit to how many times I can open a file?

No, not at the moment.

Can my tutorial be downloaded onto a thumb drive?

  • ZIP files can be downloaded and put on a thumb drive.
  • Text from purchases that open in the browser may be able to be saved as a webpage on a thumb drive.

Can my tutorial be saved to a computer?

  • ZIP files can be saved to any chosen location on your computer (e.g. “Downloads” folder).
  • Text from purchases that open in the browser may be able to be saved as a webpage on your computer.

  • Can my tutorial be opened on a different computer from where I first registered my code?

    • Purchases saved to a thumb drive or to a computer can be opened by anyone who has access to the thumb drive or computer.

    • Purchases on the website can only be downloaded or opened if you are logged in to your account.
      • If you use a different computer, go to asnttutorials.org and log in using your account.
      • You should then be able to access the files as you would on your computer.
